I once heard someone say, “That which interests my customers, fascinates the heck out of me.”
What interests your customers? More importantly, what does your product or service provide for your customers and why would they buy it from you.
Is your product a commodity, something that can be readily purchased from many suppliers? Then it might be cost or convenience that interests your customers. Figure out how to be price competitive AND convenient.
Or is your product a service that can be readily purchased from many suppliers? What interests your customer might be the quality of service or efficiency.
Could it be that your product or service is something that helps your customer grow or deliver their product or service? Then what interests your customer might be on-time delivery or consistency.
Take the time to understand why your customers would buy your product service and then figure out how to “fascinate” them by insuring you provide what interests them.
